Arcaydium and I have crossed paths often in the local Montréal scene, and they were one of the first bands I reached out to for a remix when I started this project. Their blend of rock, prog and blues is one i enjoy a whole lot, and Chris' voice is very fun to work around. In these trying times, the song's message is a soothing and hopeful one.
lyrics
The water turns to black,
There's no turning back
The decision has been made
The lights are off again
I can't find myself anymore
Shes checked out, walked out the door
Guess it's just me myself and I tonight
And The sun's still gonna shine tomorrow
The summer winds still blow
The river it still flows
What's gonna happen? Nobody knows
And everything's gonna be alright
I said, everything is gonna be just fine
Everything will be alright
I said everything will be just fine
I woke up and you still weren't here
still dazed from last night my vision wasn't clear
Downed a bottle to myself
Took the pictures down from the shelf
A house doesn't make a home
Hard to find the love if you're alone
Cause the world feels like its made of stone
And everything's gonna be alright
I said, everything is gonna be just fine
Everything will be alright
I said everything will be just fine
And The sun's still gonna shine tomorrow
The summer winds still blow
The river it still flows
What's gonna happen? Nobody knows
